Our client is a large pharmaceutical company which has opened facilities in Warsaw and Poznan. They are looking for a strategic supplier of temporary IT staff.

Database Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Planning and executing all database-related activities. Developing and implementing system concepts, including concepts for cross-platform distributed databases.
• Planning and monitoring the database applications and defining the system requirements,
• Appointing the database architectures,
• Classifying and describing the data,
• Realizing the database concept based on data models,
• Specifying, implementing and maintaining databases,
• Elaborating and realizing backup, reorganisation and restart procedures for databases,
• Evaluating, testing and implementing of appropriate data management tools,
• Optimizing the database access,
• Creating migration plans for upgrades or changes to other database software,
• Consulting and supporting the system- and application development in regard to logical concept, database technique and database operation.

Requirements:

• Experience on the similar position,
• Fluency in English,
• Knowledge of some technology: Tibco, Siebel, Oracle Database, Oracle Forms, Informatica Power Center, SAS, Hyperion, SAP ABAP, SAP BW, SAP BO, SAP FiCo, SAP SCM, SAP APO, SAP SD, SAP Authorization, Ariba, SunSystems, Java, .Net, Frontend, Graphic Design.
