Senior SAP BC Specialist

Task:

• Installation and setup of new SAP landscapes, installations, tools that make part of our
• SAP solution
• With integration into the Company IT architecture
• 'Day-to-Day' SAP-BC support of this new and already existing landscapes
• Monitoring and tuning of the servers and interfaces
• Transports, patch and plug-in installations
• Configuration (printer, user, RFC-connection, ...)
• DBA activities
• Installation of new SAP-instances ; upgrade of existing SAP systems
• 3rd line support for end-users and developers
• Being able to act as SPOC (single point of contact) between the project leader and the
• BC team ; so having project coordinator competences

Required knowledge and experience:

• University graduate
• Minimum 3 yers experience (mandatory) in one or more modules (FI, CO, MM, CD, PP, CRM)
• Customer oriented
• Good trouble shooter
• Feel comfortable in a big IT organization of an international company
• System administrator in a windows/oracle environment (min. 3 year experience )
• team player with good communication skills
• Business experience required
• Multiplatform knowledge (Wintel, Unix)
• ABAP and or Java knowledge
• Proven SAP administrator in a windows/oracle environment (min. 3 year experience)
• SAP Netweaver experience: ECC6.0, SRM, CRM/EIC, and Portal
• Good Oracle-DBA knowledge (Oracle 9/10)
• SAP Portal; SAP XI

Objective of the job:

• You will make part of the global ERP Support team for the different SAP-landscapes, together with the other 12 SAP-BC experts
• Join the ERP Support team. All SAP-instances run on Win2003, with Oracle as underlying DBMS. Currently, the team manages multiple landscapes: R/3 4.6C, ECC6.0, BW 3.1, BW 3.5, BI 7.0, SRM, and CRM/EIC. Most important used modules: HR, FICO, MMSD, RE, TEM, OM, RE FX, workflow. Besides the daily BC-administration tasks of these systems (incl. SAP security, DBA activities and implementation of SAP-tools), we also execute the SAP-upgrades and new installations to extend our SAP infrastructure. A SAP Portal will be installed too during the coming months. The team itself is located mainly in Brussels, supporting five major operating companies located in BE, NL, and Luxemburg; current number of team members: 12. Especially for the daily administration tasks and the cooperation for some new projects, we are looking for an experienced BC consultant.
